My father is on Zoladex for prostate cancer. He seems to have developed little obsessive behaviours - like counting cigarettes, the money in his pocket and writing notes. And a slurping sound with his mouth. I also feel he is sinking into a deep depression and wonder if it's the Zoladex. I am taking him to the doc tomorrow. This medication made me feel worse. It is the worst medication I have ever taken. My doctor warned me that it might give me a bad taste in my mouth, but the taste didn’t bother me. What bothered me the most was the feeling it gave me. I became very nauseated and I couldn’t eat anything without almost vomiting. My stomach was in knots and I was very lightheaded. I would NEVER take this medication again.

I enjoy taking claritin, it relieves my allergy symptoms however the drowsiness is a hue downside

Unfortunately, I have had a real problem with hormonal birth control. I'm currently taking Microgestin, and while I'm kind of miserable on it, it's not as bad as what I experienced with Ortho. My only real complaint is that I have developed contact lens intolerance, and get red, gritty, painful eyes every time I wear my lenses for more than one day at a time. My Dr., of course, doesn't think it's from the pill, but would rather send me to a series of unnecessary (and expensive) tests. G... View full comment
