Midrin was wonderful, but I grew out of it. According to my doctor, it really only works for kids and teens. It didn't always help with the full blown migraine, but it did wonders if taken at onset. I did experience a lot of nausea, but as long as I took the medication with food (hard to do with a migraine), it wasn't so bad.

I have horrible sneezing fits that I attribute to allergies. Sometimes up to 10 sneezes in a row. While using Zyrtec the sneezes have subsided slightly but not gone away. After a couple of hours my head returns to a stuffy state and I have to take medication again.

It's not until I complete this survey that I realise what an adverse affect carbimazole has had one me. It did lower my thyroid levels (and that seems to be all my doctor is interested in) but I feel worse for it. I also wonder whether other medication interracts with it. I also take lithium (which caused by hyperthyroidism) and although my doctor has said this wouldn't be a problem, I wonder if it is an issue. Final comment. I now have a really sore lower back. It works very well for me. I have a few problems with it but overall its good. its given me some diarreah, pain in the stomach, headaches, indigestion and some white-looking poop
