I had my tubes tied back in 1990 and within the last 6-8 years started having lower back pain due to a tilted uterus, and some cramping and my ob/gyn suggested getting on birth control. Since I've been on Kariva, it has taken care of these 2 problems.

The first day I tool Zyflamend, I noticed a distinct reduction in lower back pain from osteoarthritis. But the next day, I began coughing and having mucus problems. I have had to stop all NSAIDS, asperine, and even paracetamol, because they all cause coughing and wheezing. I was so looking forward to a herbal remedy that would not have this nasty side-effect. I took this medication(zyflamend) on the advice of a nurse(cardiac) My bloode pressure went up the next day and my joint pain stayed about the same. I stopped after two days and my blood pressure went back to normal.

My doc and I are still trying to work out the right dose to combat the sleepiness that my antidepressants cause (I've tried many - all make me sleepy). On 75mg, I can get through the day but am exhausted at night when it wears off. On 150mg, I feel fantastic - have tons of energy, am happier, a little less hungry (which is great considering the weight gain that's happened with trying so many antidepressants), but I lay awake at night for hours. After trying several other medications, Amrix was the first to relieve the intense constant pain in my head. I was extremely tired the first couple of weeks after I started taking it.
