The first two months of taking this product worked really well for me and then the 3rd month is when things went downhill...i had breakthrough bleeding and was bleeding almost the whole month, my face broke out in acne, i had severe breast tenderness and strong cramps in the area of my ovaries...i stopped taking this birth control and im now on a new one.

I have been using nuvaring over 4 months now. Have experienced no problems. I feel that a lot of complaints from other users is from incorrect use and from unhealthy individuals trying to use a hormonal method. I think that if you are healthy (not overweight, excercise regularly, etc.) before use than you will have less side effects. I've been taking Reclipsen for about 3 months now and it's been alright. Slight mood swings, little bit of nausea in the mornings, and some pretty gnarly headaches but thats it. No weight gain. No acne. No spotting. No cramping. I'm starting on the brand name version (Desogen) this month because planned parenthood didn't have any Reclipsen left, and I'm hoping that things will stay the same.
