I usualy takes as my doctor told me to. On weekends, when i am shopping with my daughter, I take 4 pills on Saturday. Because shopping takes long time, I won't feel pain.

I was on the study that had Enbrel approved by the FDA. I received great care at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, MA. I was willing to try anything to improve my desperate health situation. When I joined the study I was basically bedridden. The risk of side effects is well worth the relief from pain and the regained mobility. If I accidentally eat a nut and get an allergic reaction, before it becomes serious enough to need my EPI pen I take a benadryl or two and it gets rid of all my symptoms. It's a literal life saver. Try it if your'e allergic to nuts.

I began with Effexor a few years ago. It worked wonderfully at first, and then I experienced severe side effects. I switched to Cymbalta with great success without the side effects. I suffer from horrible headaches. I also get tension headaches and migraines. I take preventative medication (topamax) for my migraines but sometimes I still get one here and there. When I do get a bad migraine I usually take maxalt, but when it is not available to me I stick to what work has always worked in the past and that is ibuprofen. For the typical bad headache or tension headache, 600 or 800 mg of Ibuprofen just knocks the headache right out so I do not have to repeat the dose later... View full comment
