Hi, Same here, weakness, fatigue and shortness, just not feeling myself. Was told to take it at night but still having problems... Hate this drug.... I was put on it for svt and found out that I had wpw had ablation done two weeks ago it was corrected. Waiting for follow up so I can get off this drug. Again this is a bad drug!!! totally agree! Hope you are feeling better!

I have been taking Effexor XR in combination with Lexapro for 5 years. Recently deciding to fast and cleanse I stopped taking both meds. Please do not stop abrubtly as I did. Follow the advice of your physician and wean off the meds. I experienced extreme withdrawls including sleeplessness, flash headaches, nausea, extreme sadness and suicidal thoughts. I have been on several antidepressants over the years. My problems started with very severe panic attacks. For this condition, Paxil was amazing. Sometimes when your symptoms are severe, it will take at least 1 month before the medicine will really start working its purpose. Paxil did make me gain weight, but I still feel this is the best drug for me for those symptoms.
