I am a clinical-neuropsychologist.I had a touch of arthritis but of late, I am having swelling and pain in my knees and the leg gets stiff. This is a great birth control. It does affect sex drive, though. It's nice that injections are every three months instead of a pill everyday. The injection site does hurt for up to three days after day of injection. Have had no period, cramping, bleeding, bloating, or headaches for a year now which is great!
