I took Yasmin thinking it would give me almost identical benefits as Yaz, and Yasmin is available generic (whereas Yaz is not). However, within a month of taking this oral contraceptive my physicial and emotional state got much worse. My appetite was out of control, I ruminated over everything, etc.

Once a month I have experienced in both eyes what my eye doctor calls a migraine with aura without any pain. It is like small fans turning in my peripheral vision, but my center vision is clear. This will last 15 to 20 minutes. I am 73 years old and am taking OMEPRAZOLE. Two months ago I stopped taking Omeprazole for six weeks. The vision problem also stopped. When I resumed taking Omeprazole the vision problem returned. Has anyone had a similar problem?

i was on yaz before and ortho-tricyclen lo before that. ortho mad em gain a bunch of weight and i had really bad depression and anxiety. I went on Yaz and did'nt have many side effects except a drop in sex drive. However after two years i started getting abnormal periods - where i would bleed for a month at a time and got anemic. I switched to Junel and was worried because of some of the reviews i have read. I really like it, i have a heightened sex drive and have probably lost about 5 pounds... View full comment

i take this drug as it is the only noninvasive medication for the sickness. i do not like the drug because it gives me stomach cramps and bloating.

Seems to lower BP at times but for the most part all I get is a lot of water retention,swelling & pain. Recently started getting chest pain,dizziness,vomiting & headache
