This birth control shot is great because it's not an every day commitment like the birth control pill. This is best for me because I sometimes forget to take the pill.

At first I noticed some hair loss, thought it may be stress. After what was causing stress went away I was still losing handfuls of hair. I was trying hair loss shampoo, went to the Dr's who said maybe diabetes; got tested for that, nope. I started getting super depressed, not that hair is everything, but it for sure is a confidence killer to be balding. No history of balding in the family either for men or women. I have not found this medicine very satisfying and infact with the high-risks attached to it, with all its drawbacks, such as the persistent coughing, weight loss, headaches, joint & muscle pain, I am truly concerned as to what the devil is the "up- side" to this supposed RA disigner drug after all is said & done. Ibuprofen

I use Ibuprofen as my main pain relieving medication. It is very affective for most headaches, but when it comes to body pains it is not as affective.

Prednisone

I'm 31 and have had nephrotic syndrome with flares every 6 months since I was 2. Bone density test shows my bones are stronger than most healthy people, but I drink a lot of milk. When I'm on Prednisone I cut salt out of my diet as much as possible (there's a lot of salt in milk) knowing that the more I eat, the more I will swell. Whenever I have a headache or fever and need immediate relief, I always take tylenol. It provides quick relief, and I can continue doing whatever I need to.

I was given the first 2 rounds of injections at the advice of my OB/Gyn after the birth of my son. My health insurance then lapsed, so I had to wait on the third. I am 28 years old, and just had my first abnormal pap ever after having these injections. Upon further testing, I was diagnosed with high risk HPV (not sure of the exact strain).
