It worked very well. I was having bad ear aches and congestion. I started taking it after my doctor told me to try it. I had tried many different medications before it and it was the only one that made me feel better. The only problem I have with it is that it is very harsh on the stomach. It gave me really strong stomach aches and cramps.

I was prescriped Niaspan, but since I do not have drug insurance, the cost was prohibitive. I searched the web for a lower cost niacin and decided to try the Endur-acin because it was also extended release, came in 500mg doses, the cost for 500 tablets was $42.00, and other user comments made me feel it would be just as good. After almost 18 months of back pain so severe that I could not walk without being in agony for more than 2 minutes, now I can walk with little or no pain, am able to exercise again and so am starting to get fitter and lose weight. Phenergan does what it is supposed to do, I only wish that it didn't make me sleepy. I am very satisfied with the fact that I was able to take it during my pregnancy.
