I have recently removed the ring after a few months because of the increased pain and discomfort in my chest. Such soreness that woke me up in the middle of the night if I rolled over on my chest. My doctor put me on Nuva Ring to regulate my cycle and decrease the Ovarian Cysts. I experience very difficult periods that are extremely painful... However, I am prepared to deal with that if it means that this very painful discomfort ceases.

This was, by far the most terrifying drug I have ever taken. At first I was overjoyed by the results. I will never deny this: Singulair was, hands-down, the best drug I ever took for the seasonal sinus infections that I thought were brought on by allergies. Worked great as an addition to another SSRI when I was having trouble with early morning wakefulness. Actually took care of that problem very quickly and I was very pleased with the outcome. This remained in a steady-state for about 6 months and then I noticed that I was feeling excessively tired during the day and had severe trouble focusing and concentrating. I have bacteria in my stomach and was prescribed prevpac. I have had just about every imaginable side effect or reaction including constant headache, diarrhea, nausea, awful metallic taste in mouth, small rash that did go away within 2 days, mild itching, yeast infection, muscle cramps and pains, and awful dizziness. I only received the first shot as a 20 year old law school student, and 3 weeks later was diagnosed with severe RA. I now give myself injections of Humira every 2 weeks, take fistfuls of pills, struggle to pay medical bills, and am not feeling like a 23 year old should. I get tired very easily, the humidity causes uncontrolled swelling, and stress will also cause swelling. Based on my experience I'd recommend that you consider whether to avoid the vaccine or wait for further testing, expecially if you have a family history of autoimmune disease. For me, my vaccine with Gardasil was followed by or triggered an auto immune reaction- arthritis, fatigue, painful swelling of joints, etc.
