I am a 52 year old male. All negative symtoms are mild and could be due to other causes. If I stop taking Lexapro for a day or two I immediately notice reduced patience, being unduly bothered and reaction excessively to minor irritants and general non specific anxiety. In general I go from being a nice person to being very intolerant. Once I resume Lexapro these symptoms quickly go away (1 day).

I woke up on vacation and couldnt sheep due to congestion. I had symptoms of a possible heart attack. I think it was heartburn/chest pressure and tingling in mt hand and lower arm. I am only 38 so I thought this was odd and did not wake my husband up to take me to the hospital. I was so scaredand have had symptoms for days! The doctor prescribed me the wrong amount and I ended up getting severe diarrhea and upset stomach, so i think thats why I had those severe side effects it messed up my stomach for a while.
