I started out with 4 tabs a day but that was way too much. Doctor's PA told me to take 2 a day which was an improvement but side effects, although lessened, continued. I experienced restlessness, tongue sucking, mouth pursing, jaw clenching, rash on face, throat tightness with muscle spasm. I learned that these side effects over time can be life long. Have had an achillies tendon rupture, two bicep tendons tear. Severe muscle cramps in my calves. Recently having flashes in my eyes. Not sure if it is from lipitor

After using Tinactin spray for 3 days on my foot to treat a mild case of athletes foot (minor peeling between baby toe and the toe beside it only) i developed a bumpy, itchy rash on the skin of my foot that had come into contact with the spray powder. This medication did not help, and has only served to irritate my skin where it was applied. I get extremely hot and sweat even while doing mild tasks, its irritating but i could deal with it, to get rid of the pain. recently my sense of smell and taste have gotten very weird i cant be around anything without getting sick to my stomache and or wondering has that always smelt that way. etc.. and i have had an upset stomach through out use of the product

Tarka is a great drug but I don't recommend buying it. The drug companies are way too proud of it and increase the price to the point that it is not affordable. The greed is sickening. Instead of paying $160 a month just get your doctor to prescribe Trandolapril + Verapamil hydrochloride separately. Two pills but the total cost is around $17 a month.
