I was on TriNessa since I needed a generic for my insurance. I had no major emotional issues or weight gain. I think it did clear up my face--although I have never had a huge acne problem--only occasional breakout--which I had zero on this med. The problem for me was the breakthrough bleeding. just an FYI. If you feel a Yeast infection coming on put about TBSN of Apple cider vinegar in cup of water and douche once. It works wonders for me. Hopefully it will work wonders for you too. Or alternatively, you can use about 1-2 drops tea tree oil in tbsn of melted coconut oil and dip a plastic tampon in it - let it soak it up for 20-30 minutes and use overnight.
