I am very disappointed with Gelnique. Doesn't give me any relief. Will go back to taking Oxybunin Chloride Tablets. They don't work perfectly but much better than Detrol or Toviaz which don't work at all. I have suffered from Urge Incontinence all my life and it is a most frustrating, embarassing condition. And it is $69.00 after my prescription insurance pays. Tablets are much cheaper but more dry mouth and other side effects.

My concntration and memory has worsened. It takes me ages to complete simple tasks in work and I am experiencing some blurred vision, particularly on the computer screen.Appitite rocketd and weight increased.

My personal experience the w/ProAir HFA, is not a favorable one. I am 39 yrs old and have been a life-long Asthma suffferer / survisor! However, within the past few months, my Asthma has gone into what I call an 'active / non-reactive' phase. Very active on the Asthma side and non-reactive to my normal Albuterol Sulfate Inhaler or Solution for my Nebulizer. I was given the Z pack for an upper respiratory infection. I took two tablets the first day and immediately started feeling better. This is now my third day on the Z pack and I am back to my normal self. This is a great antibiotic.

The symptoms your son was experiencing may have been the result of a bacterial infection, as opposed to allergies, which is probably the reason your eye specialist prescribed the antibiotics. This is example highlights the importance of getting a diagnoses from a health care professional before self-medicating.
