Based on my experience I'd recommend that you consider whether to avoid the vaccine or wait for further testing, expecially if you have a family history of autoimmune disease. For me, my vaccine with Gardasil was followed by or triggered an auto immune reaction- arthritis, fatigue, painful swelling of joints, etc.

I am older, in my forties, and when I found out a friend my age got the vaccine, I decided to consider it. I have two friends with HPV and they have suffered a lot with treatments and such over the past few years. I wanted to avoid this for myself. My daughter got her first injection at age 20. Eleven days later she began having pelvic discomfort like a bladder infection. This and periodic anxiety continued for four months.
