Previous to Prozac I had taken Effexor XR for about 6 years for anxiety. I was switched from Effexor XR to Prozac because of the headaches I got while taking Effexor, but I've still noticed the headaches with Prozac, and I've had so much more anxiety. I'm starting the transition to Cymbalta tomorrow, wish me luck!

This drug also works as an 'antispasmodic' (slows digestion) making it a godsend for those of us who have had Ulcerative Colitis, Chrones Disease, IBS, Colon Cancer, etc. -related surgeries. I am a clinical-neuropsychologist.I had a touch of arthritis but of late, I am having swelling and pain in my knees and the leg gets stiff. This was prescribed to me in USA but now that I am in India, I need more information before I consult a physician here.
