Have been on 200 mg Zoloft for five years and it's effect were beginning to wane. My doctor weaned me down to 100 mg of Zoloft and added 50 mg Pristiq approximately three month ago. The first few weeks on Pristiq I experienced nausea and upset stomach along with severe lethargy. I had to take morphine before my surgery. It gave me extreme stomach pain. I had horrible mental clarity, bad memomry, made ma sick, and I became allergic to it.

I have had bad asthma since birth and the old cheap inhalers worked amazing - not with proair. Recently my asthma has been getting worse with the change of season. At work the past two days, I've been needing my proair to get through the day. Yesterday I had ringing in my air due to breathing. Today, I passed out and didn't know what happened. I ahte this medicine. The doctor gave it to me as a muscle relaxant, but it is a lowering blood pressure medicine. So it clearly didn't work for me. It caused too much pain, and all my muscles tensed up.

During the short time that I took Pristiq, I felt as though I was having an "out of body experience" and was no longer connected to the world. I could not eat, sleep properly, was very irritable, and could not relate to anyone, not even myself.
