I quit Lipitor almost 3 years ago. I was very close to not being able to work and had already had to give up all social contacts, was afraid to drive anymore and less than a year away from being on disability and not know WHY! Within the first 2 weeks of being on this drug, I sat down to eat lunch one day and when I went to get up, it felt like someone had hit me in both knees at the same time with a sledge hammer. The drug is highly effective and considered low risk. However, I tend to take medication only if it is really required. Otherwise, I try to avoid it if I can resist the fever/pain.

I could not get rid of thrush, even after many doses of prescription fungal meds. The thrush is now gone. I am having consipation, but I just had surgery so I am not sure what is going on

I am very satisfied with Concerta. I have ADD and have tried many different medications with varying success. I have had very few side effects with this drug and it works well with my managment routine. I take the it early enough so I don't have issues with insomnia and I make it a point to eat throughout the day. I started using NeilMed Sinus Rinse approx. 100 days ago, after having sinus surgery. Since then, I've been having problems with my heart pounding, and trouble sleeping. Anyone else experiencing this? I would like very much to find out if it's from the NeilMed, or if I need to start looking elsewhere.
