All my life people described me as being laid-back and happy. But my first year of college I became sad and impatient and moody. I started on 5 grams two weeks ago and I could tell it was working. However, late in the day I could feel it wearing off. When I would take the 5 grams in the morning it helped with my libido and firmness but by the next morning it would wear off. My doctor increased the dose to 10 grams a day and I just started that. Nexium has been the only medicine to help with my GERDS. My reflux was so bad it acid bubbled into my nose and I could not breathe; regardless of when I ate! There is nothing worse than being unable to not breathe! I would have to tell myself to be calm and let the acid bubbles subside to catch a breathe. The acidic cough is the worst! Nexium is the best! I am experiencing a severe skin reaction. All of face and upper chest area ( exposed to daylight ) is a very pinky/red . The affected skin area is tingly and feels as though it has been burnt. I have been to my GP who prescribed Hayleve which I took for 3days and the redness subsided . On stopping the 4mg 4x day the condition is recurring.
