I wouldn't recommend Lutera to anyone. I switched from Tri-Regol to Lutera and the side effects came unexpectedly! My vision was even affected, I gained weight and I was extremely moody. All the "typical" side effect but I prefer my birth control to have no side effects!

The constipation and change of appetite was un tolerable. I was taking pain killers for another problem and had to then sit really in pain due to extreme constipation, belly, abdomen, anus pain. I have had a rough year, worsened by this. Have been taking Topamax for about 5 years for migraines. At one point I was up to 300 mg/day but am now down to 200 mg/day. This medication has been challenging at times. I have experienced all the typical side effects to varying degrees. The most challenging side effect for me is the speech aphasia that I experience.
