Since being on Lantus, I've noticed an increase in arthritic pain and swelling of the knee joints. Some days it's difficult for me to walk I'm in so much pain. My finger joints are now inflammed and adding to the pain I'm already in. I've also gained weight and that angers me after I worked so hard to lose the weight. Sudafed is one of the best cold medications. It's a pill instead of a liquid which is a plus, so it's easy to take. It greatly reduced my headaches, runny nose, cough, sore throat, etc. It left me feeling mildly drowsy, but it's worth it.

It is making my hair fall out. I didn't know what was causing it at first, but I've narrowed it down. My hair is so thin now. I'm hoping it will grow back now that I've discontinued it. If anybody else has had this problem, please let me know, and let me know if your hair grew back. Thanks.

I have taken hydergine for 15 years. I suffered from apnoea and hydergine effectively controlled the symptoms. While beneficial it seems otherwise to be benign. Now into my 80th year I remain mentally as bright as the brass button on a Warrant Officer's tunic. It also controls ADHD behavior up to 6 hours and probably has more off-label potential not yet discovered.
