difficult to ascribe side effects to specific drug from other drugs taken e.g. simvastatin,lansoprazole, aspirin 75 mg.or for that matter from advancing age (75 yrs.)

The first time i used this drug it did not change my menstrual cycle but i did feel abit strange however the second time it did not work at all even though i had taken it within 24hrs of unprotected sexual intercourse. my mood changed slightly (more irritable) and i was more anxious, probably because i was not sure if the drug had worked or not.

The antibiotic made me car sick pretty often while I took it, perhaps bc till then the last time I took antibiotics was when I was like 6 or so.

Synthroid never affected me positively. It never resolved my symptoms and not only that, it allowed them to continue. I never got better; I only got worse. I found Armour thyroid and have never looked back. Synthroid; levoxyl, and their ilk do nothing but make money for their makers. They give a false hope, while Armour gives true hope and true theraputic value. Synthetics shoud be thrown off the market. They are worthless drugs.

I would have thought 3 months is a long enough trial, I don't think therefore that this one is going to work for you... Have you tried anything else? If this is the next in a long list of "things to try" then can I suggest that you go back to your GP and ask for a dermatology referral. There is a drug called Roaccutane ( you may have heard of it) Yes, its strong and Yes, it does have side effects, but it is effective against acne when all else has failed. works very well but is much too expensive. Also expect weight gain. Will probably change meds soon due to reasons stated above.
