Hey, I am starting to think about the side-effects of Depakine in the long term - the slowdown of brain fucntion, hair-loss, later kidney and liver demage and concentration. I am only 28 now, was 25 at the first episode. And I am really aware of the long-term slowdown of the brain.

I take Tums because I like the taste and although I am not low on calcium, I consider them safe as a calcium supplement- if taken as directed. They work for indigestion, too, but if I take one on an empty stomach I get stomach pains.

For the first year that I was taking Yaz it was great - regular and much lighter periods, zero cramps, zero PMS. It was really wonderful considering I used to have very heavy and irregular periods, extremely horrible cramps, and pretty bad PMS (irritability, mood changes, bloating, fatigue, appetite increase, etc.). Every time I went home to visit my family, I would always wind up "sick" two days into my visit. I found out/realized that I was/am allergic to dogs (and we have three) but once I started taking Quercetin my allergy symptoms cleared up within a day (crazy, I know)!! I wish...I can change the dosages...I wish,I could take naturals medications for my anxieties,without any side effects and withdrawals...it would help a lot more,with my anxieties.The main causes of my anxieties...is the withdrawals and sides effects of medications. NATURALS would be better !
