I have been taking Carbimazole medicationf or 5 months now. I find it very expensive and beginning to think the Radioactive iodine therapy is my next step. Is it not easier to treat the hypothyroidism than hyperthyroidism?? I have been battling extreme itchy feet and hands - mostly later in the day.

Works too well. I would like to try half dose as that's the published norm (75mg/day) for SAD. I have no anxiety, lack energy, little to no adreniline (sp) and lower motivation. I read a quote "I eat little, always feel like I just ate and gain weight", Bingo! My quote would be, "If someone stuck a gun in my back I'd probably just turn around and ask what the hell do you want".

I have experienced extreme incontinence after only 2 doses (1 2mg tablet and 1 4mg tablet).. I have been really really tired and confused and have had difficulty driving and remembering things I've done during the day. Needless to say I'm taking myself off this medication. I don't know why my doctor put me on it in the first place; I'm not schizophrenic.

I thought the Zyglamend was working really well for my inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis, and I was still taking only 1 tablet per day, working my way up to 2 per day. But the diarrhea and heache was there everyday. Then the headache was so bad I could barely move, so I took my blood pressure and found it had shot up dangerously high (179/112). If you are in severe pain, I really didn't feel any effects. After surgery and a good bit of pain was removed, I found out that tizanidine is rather powerful. I usually take a small amount, 2mg per day, until my pain rises, then I take as needed up to maximum dose. I know when to drop the dosage when I feel like par-boiled chicken and my muscles feel like they're going to fall off my bones. That is one strange feeling.
