Sublingual is a terrible idea for this medicine. It tasted terrible and made my tongue numb. 15 minutes after taking it I became completely drugged out (in a stupor) and had to be taken to bed immediately. Slept 12 hours straight in a deep sleep, but snored heavily and gasped for air all night long. That was my first and last time taking this medicine.

was on lipitor for 27mos. befor developing rhabdomyolsis . had a cpk reading of 14,000 and unconcious . was hospitalized for 10 days and released w/cpk of 7500 . after treatment including 5 doctors at mayo clinic cpk was reduced to about 700 about 12 mos. into treatment . and then cpk began to crawl back up now 10 mos. later is at 2900 . have myopathy,periphael neuropathy,rheumatoid arthritis,tininitus,droopy left eye and very tired w/pain that jumps all over also had 2 biopsies supporting st... Since taking Lipitor, I am experiencing severe muscle pain in both legs ( along the tibia and the femur). I am unable to climb more than three or four stairs without holding to the guard rail. Hard to stand up after sitting on a chair. I have severe knee pains. Pain in my right shoulder. I feel tired all day long.
