I've only taken Ibuprofen a few times but it has been very effective at relieving my headaches and inflammation. It has really helped with toothaches as well.

it was recomended I take this to help strengthen my bones since osteoporosis runs in my family. I did take it for some time but just having to take one a day was hard because I became forgetful.

I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. Also, when I broke my foot and had tendonitis I was given prescription 800mg ibuprofen and it was the best thing for the pain and inflammation. I would rather take Ibuprofen then any o... Tylenol works wonders for me when am in pain, and when it comes to my son when he has a fever i choose children tylenol because it relieves his pains faster then any other brand.
