I use a mix of drugs as preventive for my "Cluster" condition one is Topamax. At first I was on 250mg and it was terrible as I lost weight, dizzy, total lack of concentration and at time could not even remember my telephone number or home address. No aftyer treatment I am down to 25mg (morning and 50mg night and I feel no side effects yet I still feel a slight lack of concentration, drowsiness and weight loss. I think mentally it was discouraging to know that I had to take this because it is a private area. The medicine itself worked but I just never wanted to talk to anyone about it.

Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. Suddenly my blood pressure is extremely hi.... from 140 - 90 to 176-98+... For the first time in my life I have to take 20 mg of Enalapril twice a day to keep my blood pressure on check. Even so, the BP goes up to 150 - 95 after twelve hours of taking a pill.... I also have this jiterry feeling and can feel the pulse in the tip of my fingers..... As if in extreme alert or distress
