My personal experience the w/ProAir HFA, is not a favorable one. I am 39 yrs old and have been a life-long Asthma suffferer / survisor! However, within the past few months, my Asthma has gone into what I call an 'active / non-reactive' phase. I suffered head trauma with multiple lacerations to my face and lips, along with severe swelling and bruising. I was prescribed vicodin to relieve my pain. When I took the vicodin I felt less socially inhibited and talked much more frequently than normal.

I find that my appetite is HUGE if I am off by just an hour of taking my meds. My weight has increase 20 pounds on this med. I get horrible night sweats and insomnia. I"m lucky to be able to sleep more than 4 hours at a stretch. I haven't changed meds because I've moved and haven't found a new doc.
