I've been bouncing from birth control to birth control for over five years. I've finally found some kind of stability with NuvaRing, I don't think I will ever change from NuvaRing. No weight gain, no acne breakouts as well as no symptoms from my menstrual cycle at all.

I changed to Lyrica because I heard it was very effective for pain management & it is, but the side effects of weight gain & blurred vision are not worth it to me. I am planning to talk to my Doctor about switching. There are other side effects I could live with, but I'm not taking anything that makes me more hungry. I have enough problems in that area already.

DHC works wonders!! Nothing like Codiene at all, so don't worry folks! Also* There is no ceiling effect like codeine! On the negative side, tolerance can build within days. If I were to make a comparison for those who haven't heard of Dihydrocodeine; I'd says it's the UK's version of our "Hydrocodone (Vicodin,etc)". The two are quite similar. before I started a treatment with amlodipine, I used to have several headaches and all the time, and feeling dizzy as well. Since I have been using it, the frequency of the headaches decreased, and I don't feel anymore dizzy.
