DHC works wonders!! Nothing like Codiene at all, so don't worry folks! Also* There is no ceiling effect like codeine! On the negative side, tolerance can build within days. If I were to make a comparison for those who haven't heard of Dihydrocodeine; I'd says it's the UK's version of our "Hydrocodone (Vicodin,etc)". The two are quite similar. I was not happy with this medication. I did not take it for birth control, but for other medical reasons as prescribed by my doctor. I was depressed, moody, and overall felt physically worse.

I've been on Klonopin since the end of April. My doctors figured out the problem I was having wasnt anxiety so they are taking me off the Klonopin. I am having hot flashes, very irritable, and am having mild anxiety. It works for anxiety but it makes me really tired. Its hard to stay awake all day without taking a nap.

This pill is absolutely horrible. Everything that could possibly go wrong with side effects went wrong plus 500. I had severe depressive episodes and emotional meltdowns. I gained 15 pounds. Since I've been off of it I am back to myself again.
