I guess the insulin injections lower my blood sugar, it is just satisfying enough. The thing is that I have to take it everyday, and injections, I don't really like it!

I have been taking Spiriva for many years. I have COPD even though I have never smoked. It worked well for me until recently....I am now 71....I have had many side effects, including urinary tract infections, severe constipation, depression, blurred vision, dry mouth. I have no other choice but stop taking this drug. I believe these side effects happen after taking for several years. Taken by a 16yo Lennox Gastaut patient. Seemed to increase partial seizures. Had 2 status seizures while on this med and began having Atonic seizures which she had not had in several years. Was very out of it and hardly sleeps. weaning this med now.

It works well for me. My only compliant is that it tastes horrible. It's hard to swallow with water. It usually gets stuck to my tongue when I go to swallow.
