This is my second round of Isotretinoin. The first time the results lasted for about 3 1/2 years before I started having bouts of cystic acne again (definitely related to stress). The first time I was on it I had a lot of joint and muscle pain but I have not experienced that this time around. My aunt (in her late 50s) took Zyrtec for a short time 3 yrs ago. She said it worked well but she lost her sense of taste - nothing for 3 yrs. I guess there's no way to fix this - has anyone heard of a way to fix this?

This was first prescribed by a neurosurgeon to replace MS-Contin he said due to the insurance coverage not paying for the MS-Contin. But since changing specialists, I find it difficult to get any other physician willing to write a prescription. They say that the DEA is cracking down hard on pain mgmt. doctors and primary care doctors who write out requests for this medication. I have prostate cancer, one side only. Currently I am using hormone therapy to control testosterone production and no aggressive therapies. My last PSA result was nearly zero! I only recently (today!) read of Zyflamend's off label use in treatment of prostate cancer. Anyone out there have or heard of any experiences with this. I, too, am taking a BP prescription.

I like the fact that you only have a period every 3 months & i have not had any irregular bleeding, although i have severe headaches, my appetite is worse ( im never hungry ), and i have severe pains around my ovaries. Sex drive has increased but my mood swings kinda ruin that one. Im not very satisfied with this product and im highly considering switching to something else.
