I was diagnosed with General Anxiety in 2003. I briefly went on Buspar and Effexor; Effexor practically put me in a fog, so I didn't end up taking it very long. Yaz seems to be popular due to advertisement and not because of the quality of life the pill provides. I've heard different reactions from different women, I seem to be the only one who experiences worsened periods and severe weigh gain. I gained 37 pounds within a year.

after taking the medication for the prescribed length and finishing the bottle, I did recover from having laryngitis. The only problem with the medication with methat if you do not eat a snack or something with it, and you have an empty stomach, I had stomach problems, including diarreah and vomiting.

When this medication was administered through IV I felt as if it worked better, I felt such a great relief but then as I took it sublingual it had a bad after taste and it relieved my nausea but I guess i was expecting the same effect as through IV, but it did help the nausea a lot, and I could sleep better and actually be around food. Great medication besides the bad after taste.

I was nervous to get the Mirena because I typically do not do well with any dose of hormones. The only birth control method that has worked for me in the past is the Paragard but unfortunately after about 6 months, my body rejected it. I absolutely love the Mirena and plan to use it until I am ready to get pregnant. I am 25 and have never had children.
