I have been on several antidepressants over the years. My problems started with very severe panic attacks. For this condition, Paxil was amazing. Sometimes when your symptoms are severe, it will take at least 1 month before the medicine will really start working its purpose. Paxil did make me gain weight, but I still feel this is the best drug for me for those symptoms. I was quite distressed that I had to come off Celebrex. I experienced an ulcer and upper GI bleeding. Previously, I was taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen for arthritis but the Ibuprofen was hideous and I also experienced an ulcer. Celebrex was the last NSAID in the arsenal for treatment of my arthritis. My knees and back are far worse and I have limited mobility and a higher level of pain now.

Children's Tylenol is very effective in reducing fever and relieving aches and pains for my children during the times they had fever or flu-like symptoms. However, I noticed that for my 11 year old daughter, she had hallucinations on two occasions after taking Tylenol. I'm not sure if that is due to Tylenol or because of her fever.

I was put on Lyrica for fibromyalgia. I started out on a very low dose since I don't handle meds very well. 25 mg once a day for two days, then 50 mg for two days, then 75 mg for two days, then 100 mg for two days. On the day after I took 75mg (I took the pills at night) I started bleeding! I am post menopause. Haven't had a period in over 16 months. Now I'm having a hard time. This drug, prescribed for Hpylori infection is HARSH. Every dose I ask myself whether or not I should go off it. One time I skipped a dose! Nausea, stomach aches, itching, unquenchable thirst, diarrhea, black stool, are some of the side effects. If you have to take this drug, prepare to feel awful and don't expect much out of yourself.
