I started Loestrin 24 in May of 2010. In July I started having lower abdominal pain followed by upper right abdominal pain. After doing some research I found others had experienced gallbladder spasms. My doctor indicated that I was experiencing gallbladder spasms. I am very healthy and ended up having my appendix removed with no indication of infection b/c of the pain. Since discontinuing my medication three days ago, the symptoms are still there but have improved immensely.

I have had bad asthma since birth and the old cheap inhalers worked amazing - not with proair. Recently my asthma has been getting worse with the change of season. Hand tremor is the most obnoxious side effect of this for me. I take less of the med because of it, which means it doesn't work quite as well. Wellbutrin XL doesn't cause the hand tremors so I can take enough to be fully effective, but I can't afford it.

I found that metronidazole made my skin more sensitive to the sun. My dermatologist reccomended that I only apply at night before I go to sleep but that didn't help. Soon after I stopped using metronidazole and started putting on sunscreen daily, my face cleared up.
