I have taken Xyzal for about six months and was fine with it; however, decided to stop the dosage about four days ago and noticed that my blood pressure is highly elevated. It's almost as if my body is "acting out" for the drug. Could it be addictive? I have NEVER had elevated blood pressure.

Terrible! Try getting off this medication! It messes up your brain chemistry. I ended up in the psych ward after the terrible anxiety after trying to taper off. I did not alleviate any nerve pain that I had or still have. It's cousin Lyrica is just as dangerous! I would not suggest either of these meds. Antisiezure meds should be used for that purpose only. after taking the medication for the prescribed length and finishing the bottle, I did recover from having laryngitis. The only problem with the medication with methat if you do not eat a snack or something with it, and you have an empty stomach, I had stomach problems, including diarreah and vomiting.

I started taking Chantix two weeks ago, the first week was fine, while I was smoking, when I quit smoking on the second week I thought that I might have an immunity to the meds because I was climbing the walls... like you do when you are having a nicotine fit, by the end of the second week I developed a skin rash with lesions varying in size from a pin point to a dime size.
