Since I have been taking Synthyroid 0.25mcg, I have started spotting between periods. It did not start until I start taking the medication. I do have more energy and I feel my muscles being sore like my metabolism is increasing but the spotting is bothering me. I was diagnosed with PMDD years after realizing that my period was much worse than everyone elses. Norethindrone has regulated my menstral cycles to normal lengths of time. However I have added 15lbs of weight since I began taking. (about 40-45 days ago) Extreme bloating has occured since using Norethindrone. Is there an altenative to this drug that will not cause the above side effects

I changed to Lyrica because I heard it was very effective for pain management & it is, but the side effects of weight gain & blurred vision are not worth it to me. I am planning to talk to my Doctor about switching. There are other side effects I could live with, but I'm not taking anything that makes me more hungry. I have enough problems in that area already.

I have had a good experience with Claritin-D 12 hour. There are some mornings that I wake up and can barely open my eyes, because they are so swollen from allergies. I can't even function on days like that with out clarintin-D. I will have a runny nose, watery eyes, puffy eyes, and will be constantly sneezing until I take a claritin-D 12 hour, and I feel 10 times better. I have been on cymbolta for years. I am tired of gaining weight and not being able to get rid of it. (no matter what I do) my friend told me her meds. made her metabolism slow down Cymbalta doesn't have a side effect of weight gain but I wondered since i have been on C for so long maybe it is effecting me.
