I am not a moody or depressed person, but since taking this specific birth control I have been having the worst mood swings ranging from being being easily irritated to sad/depressed for no known reason. To everyone on NSAIDs...please be careful! My brother was prescribed naproxin (which is just prescription strength Aleve) for shoulder pain. The Dr kept refilling the prescription for 9 months which resulted in kidney damage. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil, Motrin, Aleve can be dangerous if taken improperly or long term. They aren't "safe" just because you can buy them without a prescription. One of the side effects of birth control pills is abnormal vaginal bleeding. That could mean anything from spotting for a day or two to practically being on your period all the time. You may just be experiencing this because it is your first month, and your body hasn't had time to adjust to the new hormones. AWESOME STUFF. Currently I use as a drug of choice in almost every sickness (head, cold, flu, etc.). Seems that Tylenol has a positive effect on immunity system. It gives it strength to fight the bugs. Oher drugs don't seem to have as much effect as tylenol does. I am not sure if it is some kind of ingredient combination that works well with my body or if it just a good and effective drug. Either way it tremendously help me when I am sick.
