I wanted to stop taking the drug because of the side effects however the side effect from stopping even gradualy gave me severe seizures or commonly called "Brain Zaps" so bad I don't want to stop. I feel like its a trick and my Dr. recommended me to double the dose. So he is like my crack dealer and now I am stuck on this pill forever.

I have recurrent UTIs and so my doctor often prescribes me cipro. The UTI usually goes away after about 3 days of medication. I love how quickly cipro relieves the pain, however, it is important that you take all of the medication prescribed and that the doctor gives you enough as you can become resistant and/or get a kidney infection if not all of the bacteria is killed.

The medication is okay, it mildly decreases my blood sugar. But when my blood sugar is high, I take the tablets, and a lot of water, which increase urination.

I would have thought 3 months is a long enough trial, I don't think therefore that this one is going to work for you... Have you tried anything else? If this is the next in a long list of "things to try" then can I suggest that you go back to your GP and ask for a dermatology referral. There is a drug called Roaccutane ( you may have heard of it) Yes, its strong and Yes, it does have side effects, but it is effective against acne when all else has failed. This is great stuff and people need to know about it. I went to my high school reunion and year ago and everyone commented that I hadn't aged. When i talk Amrit Kalash I don't seem to get colds and my digestion is much better. I am a big believer in the long term benefits and they should do more studies on the benefits.
