I do weekly immunoglobulin subQ infusions. I used Chloraprep once a week, prior to insterting the 5 needles that are necessary for 1 treatment of immunoglobulin, . For the past 18 weeks, I've been using Chloroprep and have suffered with huge (4-5 inches) and burning welts at each infusion site. The welts would last for 2-3 days and required me to use prednisone and Benedryl to reduce the itching. My skin around the hives was very sensitive and felt like it had gotten very sunburned. For the last month I have notice a big change in my confidence and a little bit in my sight, but I didn't think twice about it. I just figured it was all circumstantial. For example, me being single and the date for my next eye exam coming up. But I didn't have these until I got on Lutera and now I'm wondering if they have something to do with one another? hmmm...

My doctor is switching me to Luvox CR to see if it improves my difficulty with short term memory loss. I have also begun to have a terrible time waking up in the morning. In reading about Luvox it seems that it is effective without the memory loss associated with Cymbalta on occasion. As we lowered the dose from 90mg to 60mg there was not a really signifigant increase in short term memory so switching to Luvox CR is our next option.
