For me, kava works wonders for my sometimes debilitating anxiety. Non-addictive, and does not cloud my thinking. However, I usually take more than whatever the recommended dose on the bottle says. No side effects, other than if you take "too much", sometimes you can feel a little tired the next day, and/or not sleep as well in the morning. I've been taking Mucinex DM for 3 days now and it has been working great. I'm suffering from either a sever sinus infection or bronchitis. The Mucinex has really improved my cough and the congestion feels almost non existent. I can tell when the 12 hours is up because all my cold symptoms begin to come back. I do experience the side effect of feeling "spacey" or a sense of euphoria. Most cold medicines make me feel drowsy, so this is new to me.

this is the medication i hate the most due to the fact that i bruise a lot and i bleed easyly. i work on cars and if i get cut by mistake i tend to bleed a lot.
