I was on Junel for a 2 or 3 years. I absolutely loved it. I went through a year and a half of hit and misses with many different types of birth controls. I did not gain weight, I actually lost a lot of weight and maintained a great weight or have depression. When I first started Microgestin Fe I had irregular bleeding and started my period early and it lasted for almost 3 weeks. Then I went without having a period for about 10 months. While I didn't mind this it obviously wasn't good so I had to be put on medicine to restart my period and then switch birth controls

First few days I was going to quit taking it. I wasn't noticing much of a difference in general hip and back pains. But then I noticed that I didn't have trouble getting something off of the floor.
