I cut down to .25mg per 3x/day now. been a long ride. never take a benzo over a 10 day period. if your Dr says it is ok, fire him/her. it is not. only good in high doses long term for extreme disorders of siezures in the young. not for anxiety, sleep, etc. don't start it ever. there are some benzo's that are immpossible to get off of according to my neurologist. in a few short months i should be free and clear of this nasty drug. a very well known and respected Dr in this area presc... I made the mistake of taking it just before bed on 2 occasions (not on a full stomach) & was awake at 4 a.m. with severe abdominal pain both times - with nausea, and feeling like I needed to vomit. The abdominal tenderness persisted into the next day - felt like I'd done 500 sit-ups.
