You should try taking a non-drowsy allergy medication during the day, such as Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Save the Benadryl for the night time, before you got to bed. You could also try a decongestant that contains pseudoephedrine...it works by constricting the inflamed blood vessels in your nasal passages that is causing the congestion. Good luck.

This medication changed my life. I almost failed high school. I got my BA-MA-Phd in late 30's on a 10-15 cup of coffee/day habit. Once I got a full-time job I was so exhausted from staying focused that i slept most weekends. For many years I could never figure out quite what was wrong with me/why I couldn't stay in the moment. It doesn't completely keep me focused--I still have to eat right and exercise--but it helps immensely at work and in my everyday life I can actually pay attention... View full comment

Over a year ago (9/2008) I fell very badly on concrete, with my left leg bent underneath me. After various doctor visits and therapy sessions, which did no good, I decided to do what a friend told me to do for months...TRY ZYFLAMEND! I hurt so badly, I decided to go to my local health food store and purchase them. They are wonderful. As long as I take one in the morning and one in the evening, I am virtually pain free. I avoided using stairs because of the pain in my left knee and leg...... View full comment
