This drug was horrible for me. I have never felt sicker than when I was on it. The withdrawals were worse than opiate withdrawal. I was totally ill for two weeks-I couldn't stand or sit up without throwing up. I had "brain zaps," couldn't eat or sleep.

Using Carbilev for many years has improved my quality of life but I needed Sinemet 200mg at night so that I could function if I got up during the night. Was on Pexola for several years then did not do so well and came off and started Stelivo. Stelivo was used with Carbilev for about 6 months. I started taking Januvia a year ago because my blood sugar had began to go up while I was just taking Metformin and hadn't been doing anything different than usual. Since I started taking Januvia in addition to Metformin I have noticed that my blood sugar is much more stable.
