for the first couple of days it felt really harsh on my skin then i think i got used to it, my doctor had informed me not to be in the sunlight and this terrified me, as he mentioned this would make me feel itchy or burn if i stayed in the sun. I do not like this drug. I feel like I'm having a heart attack sometimes, my hormones are out of whack, I'm having problems with being able to urinate. My vision is blurry. I cant exercize cuz my heart rate drops and I get winded and dizzy. I just don't feel good. I am having problems with my memory as well.

I have been taking a teaspoon of turmeric powder daily with food for 18 months. Excellent anti-inflammatory. Very useful in reducing body fat, possibly suppresses appetite as well as seeming to help fat with reduction. With vitamin D3 it apparently enhances the immune system.I've had no colds or infections for well over a year now.

Update. The worry over Lantus is over for me. I tried Levemir for a couple of months, before switching back to Lantus as it made no difference to the pain. Then I had a diagnosis of polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) a few weeks ago. This was after several visits to my doctor and a rheumatologist, blood tests and a radiological bone scan.
