My aunt (in her late 50s) took Zyrtec for a short time 3 yrs ago. She said it worked well but she lost her sense of taste - nothing for 3 yrs. I guess there's no way to fix this - has anyone heard of a way to fix this?

Have been on 200 mg Zoloft for five years and it's effect were beginning to wane. My doctor weaned me down to 100 mg of Zoloft and added 50 mg Pristiq approximately three month ago. The first few weeks on Pristiq I experienced nausea and upset stomach along with severe lethargy. After the third week things began to level out and I did notice that my mood began to lift and become more even. I am still tired a lot and my appetite has been suppressed (which is a good thing) but the nausea is... View full comment

A lot of my symptoms could be related to me stopping smoking and not to NicoDerm CQ. My chest hurts but not a caving in feeling, rather a bruised feeling. As the day progresses I feel less anxious. I smoked 13 ciggerettes per day and still think that Step 1 is giving me too much nicotine.

This medication changed my life. I almost failed high school. I got my BA-MA-Phd in late 30's on a 10-15 cup of coffee/day habit. Once I got a full-time job I was so exhausted from staying focused that i slept most weekends. For many years I could never figure out quite what was wrong with me/why I couldn't stay in the moment. It doesn't completely keep me focused--I still have to eat right and exercise--but it helps immensely at work and in my everyday life I can actually pay attention... View full comment

Retin-a micro definitely helped in treating my stubborn acne. When my dermatologist said it would make me break out at first, I freaked out. However, that never happened. With doxycycline and benzamycin, my skin looked much better in just a few weeks. No negative side effects.

I take it along with Actos once a day and glucophage XR and all together they seem to do the job. My blood sugars are never quite as low as the target rates but I actually feel dizzy and crumby when I am within the 70-120 range for my blood sugars. I believe my blood sugar level should actually be slightly higher than the average person because I feel better when they are around 120-160. I know this is not the accepted view but that is how I feel.
