I was on the NuvaRing for 4 years and I loved it. Little to no cramps, 2-3 day light periods. Everything was great. Suddenly I started getting yeast infections. The first one was the last week before my period. It went away when I had my period, but came back three days after I put in a new ring. And lasted for 2 weeks. My skin is terribly dry. Perhaps that's because of asthma but it seems to have happened since I've been taking this drug.

Even though the medication is slightly painful it is nothing compared to the pain I was feeling in my stomach and this medication just relieved all of that pain and it just felt amazing, the cramping in my stomach was just gone. No side effects from this medication or anything.

I am now trying this, have not taken the pills now for a couple of days, (because I love to sleep and it was keeping me up all day, and then I would go to bed around 10:30 p.m. ) so I am back to being cold. I even slept in the day for 3 blissful hours. Does anyone out there knows if this is a problem going on or off the meds like that? Let me know!

I had the same horrible stomach/nervous system experiences with Candex and other enzyme products. I even dumped out most of the capsule to attempt a staggering dosage regimen. I quit for over a year, but because my candida problems continue, even with the candida diet, probiotics, and coconut oil, I am trying it again. But same reaction. I wish naturopaths would look into this problem more.
