At first I noticed some hair loss, thought it may be stress. After what was causing stress went away I was still losing handfuls of hair. I was trying hair loss shampoo, went to the Dr's who said maybe diabetes; got tested for that, nope. I started getting super depressed, not that hair is everything, but it for sure is a confidence killer to be balding. No history of balding in the family either for men or women. When I forget to take it on time, I get little "electric" shocks, I used to get them when I was starting on the medication as well. I don't really feel like it's doing much for me (if anything at all), I have it paired up with mianserin hydrochloride (20 - 30+ mg / day in the evenings depending on how tired I am - how much rest I've been skipping on previous days) which seems great. I've had eczema since I was in the third grade and I had a flare that no lotion or ointment worked on. I was prescribed Prednisolone to treat my eczema and as soon as the next day, my flare began to improve. The downside is you can only use this treatment for a few days but after the week or so that you're on it, lotion and ointments can be used for minor flares.
